Lavender is a fusion of Japanese wood crafting skills and European modern design. Designed by Noboru Nakamura, it consists of a cushion that covers the whole back, providing comfort from top to bottom. It's a chair that matches well widely with CondeHouse desks and tables.

Designer
Noboru Nakamura
Noboru Nakamur was born in 1938. After wining top awards in some design competitions, he went to Sweden to study design, started working for IKEA as design staff from 1972 to 1978, and provided the designs of Lavender chair and Tack easy chair to CondeHouse. Both of them are still available, and the former one has been sold for more than 40 years. One of his master pieces, IKEA Poang chair was selected as one of 100 Great Designs of Modern Times in 2019.
